Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes der Anthrachinonreihe. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Küpenfarbstoff der Anthrachinonreihe erhält, wein man 5.5'-Dibenzoylamirro-1.1'-dianthri- mid mit konzentrierter Schwefelsäure behan delt und das so erhaltene Zwischenprodukt zum Farbstoff oxydiert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Ein Gewichtsteil 5.5'-Dibenzoylarrrirro-1.1'- dianthrimid wird in 10 Gewichtsteilen Schwe felsäure<B>660</B> B6 suspensiert und bei 30 bis 350 C so lange gerührt, bis die Masse eine olive Farbe angenommen hat. Darauf wird das so erhaltene Zwischenprodukt zum Bei spiel mit 10 Gewichtsteilen von 40 > igem Oleum zum Farbstoff oxydiert und die Reak tionsmischung auf Eis gegossen.- Der Farb stoff scheidet sich in Form gelber Flocken ab.
Er wird abfiltriert, in Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet. Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein oranges Pulver dar, das in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe löslich ist und sich in kochendem Chinolin mit gelber Farbe schwer löst. Es bildet mit Alkali- hydrosulfitlöaungen eine rotgelbe Küpe, aus der Baumwolle in leuchtenden, gelborange- nen, licht- und waschechten Nuancen gefärbt wird.
Process for the preparation of a vat dye of the anthraquinone series. It was found that a new vat dye of the anthraquinone series is obtained when 5.5'-dibenzoylamirro-1.1'-dianthrimide is treated with concentrated sulfuric acid and the intermediate product thus obtained is oxidized to the dye.
<I> Example: </I> One part by weight of 5.5'-dibenzoylarrirro-1.1'-dianthrimide is suspended in 10 parts by weight of sulfuric acid <B> 660 </B> B6 and stirred at 30 to 350 C until the mass has a has assumed olive color. The intermediate product thus obtained is then oxidized to the dye with 10 parts by weight of 40> oleum oleum, for example, and the reaction mixture is poured onto ice. The dye separates out in the form of yellow flakes.
It is filtered off, washed in water and dried. The new dye is an orange powder that is soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue color and difficult to dissolve in boiling quinoline with a yellow color. Together with alkali hydrosulfite solutions, it forms a red-yellow vat from which cotton is dyed in bright, yellow-orange, lightfast and washfast shades.
