Abstract

SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA REDUZIR O CONSUMO DE ENERGIA EM UM DISPOSITIVO. A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema e processo que permitem um dispositivo ajustar a duração de vários modos de energia com base na utilização do dispositivo. O processo inclui operar um dispositivo em um nível de energia totalmente operacional, contar um primeiro tempo de espera, modificar um modificador de primeiro tempo de espera em resposta à detecção de utilização do dispositivo de geração de imagem antes da expiração do primeiro tempo de espera, e reduzir o consumo de energia do nível totalmente operacional para um nível de baixa energia em resposta à expiração do primeiro tempo de espera.
