Relatório Descritivo da Patente de Invenção para UNIDADE DE CARREGAMENTO DESCARTÁVEL E INSTRUMENTO CIRÚRGICO INCLUINDO A MESMA.
ANTECEDENTES DA INVENÇÃO [001] O presente pedido descreve uma invenção que se refere, de modo geral, e em várias modalidades, a uma unidade de carregamento descartável configurada para conexão a um instrumento cirúrgico reutilizável e a instrumentos cirúrgicos que incluem uma unidade de carregamento descartável.
[002] Os instrumentos cirúrgicos que são utilizados para correntemente fazer incisões longitudinais no tecido e aplicar linhas de grampos sobre os lados opostos das incisões são conhecidos na técnica. O tecido pode incluir, por exemplo, um tecido humano, um tecido animal, membranas, ou outras substâncias orgânicas. Estes instrumentos cirúrgicos geralmente incluem um par de elementos de garra opostos que cooperam no sentido de agarrar ou prender o tecido entre os mesmos e uma superfície de corte que faz a incisão. A aplicação de agentes medicinais no local do tecido traumatizado é com frequência feita por meio de um instrumento cirúrgico diferente que faz a incisão e aplica os grampos. Este meio de modo geral aumenta a complexidade e o custo associado ao procedimento. No entanto, este meio é com frequência necessário, uma vez que muitos instrumentos cirúrgicos correntemente utilizados para fazer uma incisão e aplicar os grampos não são configurados para armazenar e liberar quantidades suficientes de agentes medicinais para o local do tecido traumatizado, e a liberação de alguns agentes medicinais para o local do tecido traumatizado via o instrumento cirúrgico tornaria o instrumento cirúrgico inadequado para uma reutilização.

Conforme mostrado na figura 3, a segunda seção 90 pode definir uma segunda saliência 100 e um segundo orifício de dispensa 102 próximo da segunda extremidade 84 do cartucho de agente 18. A segunda saliência 100 pode ser de qualquer formato (retangular, triangular, hemisférico, etc.). Em resposta à voltagem aplicada, os primeiro e segundo acionadores de agente medicinal 168, 170 se expandem dentro das primeira e segunda seções 88, 90 do corpo 86 do cartucho de agente 18 e impulsionam os primeiro e segundo agentes medicinais para fora dos primeiro e segundo orifícios de dispensa 96, 102.

Quando a montagem de lâmina 20 avança ao longo da fenda 142 definida pelo cartucho de grampos 22, o cartucho de grampos 22 também serve para manter os agentes medicinais nas ranhuras 128, 130 até que os agentes medicinais saiam das ranhuras 128, 130 próximas da superfície de corte 114. Por exemplo, de acordo com várias modalidades, um único componente pode ser substituído por múltiplos componentes, ou múltiplos componentes podem ser substituídos por um único componente, a fim de realizar uma dada função ou funções. O presente pedido de patente, portanto, pretende cobrir todas estas modificações, alterações e adaptações sem se afastar do âmbito e espírito da presente invenção conforme definida pelas reivindicações em apenso.

- REIVINDICAÇÕES1. Unidade de carregamento descartável (10) que compreende:uma montagem de alojamento (16);uma montagem de lâmina (20) conectada à montagem de alojamento (16); e um cartucho de agente (18) conectado à montagem de alojamento (16), em que o cartucho de agente (18) aloja um agente medicinal, e em que a unidade de carregamento descartável (10) é configurada para liberar o agente medicinal próximo a uma superfície de corte (114) da montagem de lâmina (20);um cartucho de grampos conectado à montagem de alojamento;uma montagem de placa de apoio conectada à montagem de alojamento; e caracterizada pelo fato de que pelo menos um acionador de agente medicinal (168) está em contato com o cartucho de agente (18), em que o pelo menos um acionador de agente medicinal é um polímero eletricamente ativado.
- 2. Unidade de carregamento descartável, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizada pelo fato de que a montagem de lâmina (20) compreende uma primeira superfície (124) que define uma primeira ranhura (128) próxima à superfície de corte (114).

Unidade de carregamento descartável, de acordo com a reivindicação 2, caracterizada pelo fato de que a montagem de lâmina (20) compreende ainda uma segunda superfície (126) oposta à primeira superfície (124), em que a segunda superfície (126) define uma segunda ranhura (130) próxima à superfície de corte (114).

Unidade de carregamento descartável, de acordo com a reivindicação 2, caracterizada pelo fato de que o cartucho de agentePetição 870180006207, de 24/01/2018, pág. 5/112/3 (18) compreende:um corpo (86); e um primeiro orifício de dispensa (96) definido pelo corpo (86), em que o primeiro orifício de dispensa (96) é adjacente à primeira ranhura (128).
