Abstract

DISPOSITIVO DE MEDIçãO DE PRESSãO SANGUìNEA E MéTODO PARA OPERAR O DISPOSITIVO DE MEDIçãO DE PRESSãO SANGUìNEA. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo (10) para o automonitoramento da pressão sanguínea de um paciente que compreende um gerador de alarme. O gerador de alarme (11) é projetado de tal forma a lembrar o paciente para realizar a medição da pressão sanguínea ou para ligar o dispositivo de medição de pressão sanguínea (10). O gerador de alarme funciona de acordo com um programa de medição predeterminado, O dispositivo (10) realizará uma fase específica de medição de pressão sanguínea em casa de acordo com os critérios validados pelo médico, e irá calcular uma leitura de pressão sanguínea apurada com base em uma pluralidade de valores de medição. O dispositivo (10) pode proporcionar um médico com dados precisos para diagnosticar se o usuário apresenta hipertensão ou não. O referido dispositivo diagnóstico é adicionalmente operável em um modo de decisão terapêutica, que pode monitorar a pressão sanguínea para avaliar o efeito de um tratamento de fármaco anti-hipertensivo. No modo estendido, o gerador de alarme funciona de acordo com uma medição predeterminada diariamente. O gerador de alarme é projetado de modo a lembrar o paciente para realizar a medição da pressão sanguínea e a subseqúente ingestão de fármaco. Ainda durante a fase de tratamento. O fármaco anti-hipertensivo pode levar possivelmente à ocorrência de batimentos cardíacos irregulares do paciente tendo uma tendência a elevar ou a diminuir, o que pode ser um índice de referencia para avaliar os tipos e as doses do fármaco antihipetensivo tratado. O dispositivo (10) pode ainda usar um botão selecionável para operar como um monitor de pressão sanguínea caseiro regular.
