Abstract

EXTRAÇçO DE NÍQUEL E COBALTO A PARTIR DE UM FLUXO DE ELUATO DE RESINA. Um processo para a recuperação de níquel e cobalto a partir de um eluato de resina acídica contendo pelo menos níquel e cobalto, o referido processo incluindo as etapas de: (a) tratar o eluato com um reagente orgânico imiscível (18) para seletivamente absorver a maior parte do cobalto, e uma porção de qualquer cobre, zinco e manganês presente noeluato, deixando um rafinado contendo o níquel e impurezas menores; (b) neutralizar o rafinado para precipitar o níquel como hidróxido de níquel (19); (c) extrair o cobalto a partir do reagente orgânico (22); e (d) recuperar o cobalto (23)
