Abstract
APARELHO E MéTODO PARA INSPECIONAR RECIPIENTES ENRUGADOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho para inspecionar um recipiente que possui um eixo geométrico central e uma parede lateral com frisos externos que se estendem de maneira circunferencial. O aparelho inclui uma fonte de luz para direcionar um feixe de luz em formato de linha sobre uma superfície externa do recipiente, um sensor de luz disposto para receber partes refletidas do feixe em formato de linha e um processador de informação acoplado ao sensor de luz para determinar a característica geométrica da parede lateral como um função da energia luminosa refletida. O feixe de luz em formato de linha, preferencialmente, possui uma longa dimensão paralela ao eixo do recipiente e, comprimento suficiente para iluminar pelo menos um pico do friso e pelo menos uma depressão do friso entre os picos do friso, O sensor pode ser um sensor com disposição linear que é, em particular, útil para medir formas não arredondadas ou, um sensor para um conjunto de área para medir a espessura de formas não arredondadas e da parede lateral.
