Abstract

"MéTODO PARA A REPRODUçãO DE FUNGOS QUE PRODUZEM LIPìDIO". Se pretende proporcionar um método de reprodução pelo qual um fungo que produz lipídio pertencendo ao gênero Mortierella pode ser efetiva e eficientemente reproduzido sem recorrer a antibióticos. A transformação é realizada com o uso de um auxótrofo (por exemplo, auxótrofo de uracila) de um fungo pertencendo à Mortierella como um hospedeiro. Mais especialmente falando, um gene que compensa a auxotrofia, o qual é empregado como um marcador, é transferido para o hospedeiro (a etapa de transferência de gene) . Em seguida, um transformante é selecionado através de uso de recuperação da auxotrofia como o marcador (a etapa de seleção). O fungo que produz lipídio pode ser M. aplina, por exemplo.
