Abstract

"MEIO DE GRAVAçãO DE ALTA DENSIDADE E MéTODO E APARELHO PARA O CONTROLE DE REPRODUçãO DE DADOS DO MESMO". São descritos aqui um meio de gravação de alta densidade e um método e um aparelho para controlar a reprodução/gravação de dados do mesmo. A informação de controle, tal como a informação de comprimento de bit de canal, é gravada em uma área de corte por rajada (BCA) de um disco ótico de alta densidade esp., em um tipo oscilante. Quando o disco ótico de alta densidade é reproduzido ou gravado, a informação de controle é detectada, por exemplo, utilizando-se um modo de detecção de sinal de empurrar/puxar e a operação de reprodução/gravação de dados ideal correspondente à capacidade de gravação do disco ótico é realizada com base na informação de controle detectada. Alternativamente, as taxas de erro de bit (BERS) são calculadas enquanto uma pluralidade de modos de detecção de bit predeterminados são realizados seq³encialmente, um dos modos de detecção de bit correspondente à menor das BERs calculadas é selecionada e a operação de reprodução de dados é realizada no modo de detecção de bit selecionado. Portanto, é possível se realizar uma operação de reprodução de dados ideal para a capacidade de gravação de um BD-ROM (Blu-ray Disc-ROM) apesar da informação de disco (DI) ser gravada em uma zona PIC (dados de Informação & Controle Permanentes) do BD-ROM em um formato de gravação que necessita de um processo de decodificação e a capacidade de gravação é qualquer um dos diferentes valores tais como 23 Gbytes, 25 Gbytes, 27 Gbytes, etc.
