"PROCESSO E APARELHO DE DENSIFICAçãO DE UM MATERIAL A GRANEL EM PARTìCULAS". Um processo de densificação de um material a granel em partículas inclui pelo menos o confinamento parcial do material a granel em partículas, e girando um elemento rotativo (14) submerso sob o material a granel em partículas em torno de um eixo de rotação (16) para causar o movimento das partículas de material essencialmente na direção de ou para longe do eixo de rotação, para dessa forma fornecer um material a granel em partículas densificado. O processo é particularmente adequado para densificar vapor de sílica. A invenção se estende ao aparelho para a densificação de um material a granel em partículas.
