Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE UM COMPOSTO DE FERRO-DEXTRANO" Em um processo para a produção de um composto de ferro-dextrano para uso em tratamento parenteral de deficiência de ferro em seres humanos ou em animais é obtido um composto estável de desejável peso molecular relativamente baixo mediante o uso primeiramente de hidrogenação e em seguida oxidação para converter os grupos terminais redutores sobre as moléculas de dextrano antes da reação com o ferro. Pela variação da relação dos grupos hidrogenados para os grupos oxigenados o peso médio molecular do composto de ferro-dextrano resultante pode ser variado.
