Patente de Invenção: SISTEMA DE ORIENTAçãO PARA GUIAR UM VEìCULO GUIADO, AUTOMATICAMENTE; SISTEMA DE VEìCULO GUIADO AUTOMATICAMENTE; MéTODO PARA COMUTAR UM VEìCULO AUTOMáTICO GUIADO POR TRILHOS; MéTODO PARA LEVAR UM VEìCULO GUIADO AUTOMATICAMENTE DE UM PRIMEIRO PONTO PARA UM SEGUNDO PONTO.é descrito um sistema de orientação para um veículo guiado automaticamente (VGA) ao longo de uma trajetória, que inclui trilhos para manter o VGA nas porções de um modo geral retas da trajetória e um sistema de orientação sem trilhos para direcionar o VGA do final de um primeiro segmento de trilho para o início de outro. Os trilhos provêm o nível necessário de controle para permitir que um veículo não tripulado se mova em altas velocidades, enquanto que o sistema de orientação sem trilhos elimina a necessidade das comutações de trilhos que seriam de outra forma necessárias para comutar um veículo guiado por trilhos de uma porção de trilho para outra.
