Abstract
<B>PRODUçãO E PURIFICAçãO DE áCIDO SUCCìNICO<D> Um processo altamente eficiente para produção e recuperação de ácido succínico puro a partir de um sal succinato, que envolve uso mínimo de reagentes adicionais, e produz virtualmente nenhuma perda por produto, e permite reciclagem interna dos valores de ácido e base, é fornecido. O método envolve a formação de ácido de diamónio, tento pelo uso de um material baseado em íon amónio para manter um pH 8 neutro no fermentador, quanto do cátion amónio para o cátion do sal succinato criado no fermentador. O succinato de diamónio pode então ser reagido comum íon sulfato, através da combinação succinato de diamónio com bisulfato de amónio e/ou ácido sulfúrico num pH suficientemente baixo para produzir ácido succínico e sulfato de amónio. O sulfato de amónio é vantajosamente quebrado termicamente em amónia e bisulfato de amónio. O ácido succínico pode ser purificado com uma etapa de dissolução no metanol.
