Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE VULCANIZADO TERMOPLáSTICO, E, PROCESSO PARA FAZER UMA COMPOSIçãO DE VULCANIZADO TERMOPLáSTICO" Copolímeros termoplásticos aleatórios de etileno podem ser usados para aumentar o alongamento de ruptura e a tenacidade de vulcanizados termoplásticos. O polipropileno é uma fase termoplástica preferida. A borracha pode ser borracha olefínica. Copolímeros termoplásticos aleatórios de etileno são diferentes dos copolímeros Ziegler-Natta de etileno, como a heterogeneidade do copolímero é maior do que a dos copolímeros de Ziegler-Natta. Essa diferença resulta em diferenças substanciais nas propriedades (alongamento de ruptura e tenacidade) entre os vulcanizados modificados com etileno termoplástico aleatório e com os copolímeros Ziegler-Natta de etileno modificados. Um aumento no alongamento de ruptura resulta em grande extensibilidade nos artigos feitos a partir de um vulcanizado termoplástico.
