Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE L-CARNITINA A PARTIR DE CROTONOBETAìNA"<D>. A invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de L(-)-carnitina. A essência da invenção consiste em preparar um processo, que de maneira economicamente vantajosa permite a síntese de L(-)-carnitina a partir de crotonobetaína, sais ou derivados de crotonobetaína mediante células imobilizadas de Escherichia coli 044 K74 em um reator de reciclagem de células que trabalha continuamente. Células em crescimento ou em repouso de E. coli são retidas em um reator de reciclagem de células que trabalha continuamente por membranas de micro- ou de ultrafiltração, que estão dispostas como módulo de membrana plana ou de fibra oca.
