Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO METALúRGICA RESISTENTE A Pó E RESISTENTE à SEGREGAçãO APERFEIçOADA CONTENDO Pó DE LIGA LIGADO A UM Pó à BASE DE METAL, E, PROCESSOS PARA PREPARAR A MESMA, PARA A MANUFATURA DE UMA PARTE METáLICA COMPACTADA, E PARA PREPARAR UMA PARTìCULA REVESTIDA". Processos aperfeiçoados para revestir materiais particulados em baixas condições de cisalhamento e preferivelmente abaixo do ponto de fusão do material de revestimento são providas. Em um aspecto, são providas composições metalúrgicas que comtêm um pó à base de metal ligado a um pó ou pós de liga por meio de um agente aglutinante de cera ou polímero de baixo ponto de fusão, que é preferivelmente polietileno, O agente aglutinante é misturado com os pós de liga e à base de metal, em temperaturas elevadas, preferivelmente abaixo do ponto de fusão do agente aglutinante. A composição metalúrgica ligada pode ser usada em processos de compactação para manufaturar partes compactadas, que podem ser sinterizadas para resistência ao impacto.
