Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVO PARA INTRODUZIR PEQUENAS QUANTIDADES DE MERCúRIO EM LâMPADAS FLUORESCENTES E LâMPADAS ASSIM OBTIDAS"<D>. Um dispositivo e um método são apresentados para introduzir, nas lâmpadas fluorescentes, pequenas quantidades de mercúrio. O dispositivo é formado de um recipiente metálico capaz de conter pós de um ou mais compostos tendo a fórmula geral Ti~ x~Zr~ y~Hg~ z~, mas não é hermeticamente vedado, para permitir a descarga de vapores de mercúrio gerada pela decomposição de tais compostos. Algumas geometrias possíveis de dispositivo são apresentadas, assim como algumas disposições possíveis da mesma dentro das lâmpadas. Finalmente é apresentado um método para introduzir mercúrio em uma lâmpada por meio de um dispositivo da invenção, sem que o dispositivo permaneça na lâmpada resultante.
