Abstract

<B>MéTODO E APARELHO PARA OPERAR EMBREAGEM EM TRANSMISSãO MECâNICA AUTOMáTICA<D> Um aparelho e método (50) para controlar a taxa de engrenamento de uma embreagem (56) em resposta a uma indicação (54) fornecida pelo motorista, tal como a depressão de um pedal de acelerador do veículo. O aparelho inclui um controlador eletrónico que inicialmente determina uma taxa de início como o ciclo de trabalho mínimo que é requerido para modular uma válvula de engrenamento para provocar movimento de um mancal de liberação da embreagem na direção de engrenamento, calcula uma taxa de transição inicial de movimento do mancal de liberação de uma posição desengrenada para um ponto de transição e esteabelece de novo a taxa de engrenamento para uma taxa de aproximação para movimento do mancal de liberação do ponto de transição até um ponto de encontro. Quando o pedal do acelerador for deprimido por mais do que um valor predeterminado, a taxa de aproximação poderá ser determinada em função da taxa de início, do sinal de posição do acelerador e de um sinal de retorno de controle de tempo.
