Abstract

<B>CATALISADOR DE PRATA PARA PRODUçãO DE óXIDO DE ETILENO, MéTODO PARA PRODUçãO DO MESMO, E MéTODO PARA PRODUçãO DE óXIDO DE ETILENO<D> Um catalisador para a produção de óxido de etileno é formado fazendo com que um portador tendo <244>-alumina como um seu componente principal incorpore no mesmo sílica e um metal ou um composto de pelo menos um elemento selecionado dos elementos dos grupos Ib e IIb da tabela periódica tais como, por exemplo, óxido de prata e depositando-se prata sobre o portador. O portador é obtido mediante mistura de pelo menos <244>-alumina, um composto de silício, um aglutinante orgânico, e um composto de pelo menos um elemento selecionado dos elementos dos grupos Ib e IIb da tabela periódica e, então, calcinando-se a mistura resultante a uma temperatura na faixa de 1000° a 1800°C.
