A PROCESS FOR THE DEHYDROGENATION OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS BY CONTACTING A FEED CONTAINING ONE OR MORE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS AT AN ELEVATED TEMPERATURE WITH A DEHYDROGENATION CATALYST AND A PEROVSKITE - TYPE OXIDE WHICH IS BASED UPON AN OXIDE OF A FIRST METAL SELECTED FROM THE GROUPS 4B, 5B, 6B, 7B 8 AND IB OF THE PERIODIC TABLE AND AN OXIDE OF A SECOND METAL SELECTED FROM GROUP 3B OF THE PERIODIC TABLE AND SAID COMPOSITION OF A DEHYDROGENATION CATALYST AND PEROVSKITE-TYPE OXIDE.
