''ESPELHO RETROVISOR EXTERNO PARA UM VEìCULO''. Um espelho retrovisor para veículo possui um elemento refletivo (12) montado de modo a ter movimento angular em torno de um eixo geométrico da articulação (74) perpendicular a um plano que contém tanto uma primeira linha (52-82) como também uma segunda linha (52-84). A primeira linha (52-82) bissecciona o ângulo entre um raio incidente (54-52) e uma reflexão do dito raio incidente que se estende para uma primeira extremidade (78) do eixo geométrico principal de uma seção vertical através da ''elipse ocular'', e uma segunda linha (52-84) bissecciona o ângulo entre o dito raio incidente (54-52) e uma reflexão do dito raio incidente que se estende para um segunda extremidade (80) do dito eixo geométrico principal.
