"N^ 7^ -METILTRANSFERASE DE XANTOSINA SUBSTANCIALMENTE PURA, SEQUêNCIA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO SUBSTANCIALMENTE PURA, E, PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR GRãOS DE CAFé SEM CAFEìNA". Proteínas purificadas, seq³ências de DNA que codificam em expressão assim e moléculas de DNA recombinantes, incluindo hospedeiros transformados com as mesmas, para transformar plantas de café para suprimir a expressão de caféina. As sequências de DNA e moléculas de DNA recombinantes são caracterizadas em que elas codificam em expressão para uma enzima na via para síntese de cafeína em café. As plantas de café transformadas com moléculas de DNA que codificam em transcrição para mRNA que é anti-sentido para mRNA, que codifica em expressão durante pelo menos uma enzima na via para bio-síntese de cafeína.
