Abstract

''APARELHO PARA LANçAR E RECUPERAR UM BARCO SALVA-VIDAS, UM BARCO DE RESGATE OU PEQUENO BARCO SIMILAR''. A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho, aqui designado uma doca, para lançar e recuperar um barco salva-vida, barco de resgate ou pequenos barcos semelhantes sobre um navio, uma plataforma flutuante ou alguma instalação fixa. O barco (14) é normalmente armazenado na doca. A doca é provida com elementos de flutuação (1) fixados a uma construção de armação (3). O barco (14) é suportado em um berço (2) dentro da armação (3). No lançamento e recuperação do barco (14), a doca é abaixada a uma posição de flutuação sobre a superfície da água. A fim de fixar o barco (14) na doca, um dispositivo de travação (9, 15) é provido. Modificando-se a configuração e o tamanho dos elementos flutuantes, a doca recebe períodos de arfagem e de balanço, que, tão proximamente quanto possível, coincidem com aqueles do barco (14). A doca e o barco (14), desse modo, comportar-se-ão aproximadamente da mesma maneira no mar, o que torna relativamente simples dirigir o barco (14) para dentro da doca, mesmo em um mar muito agitado. Quando o barco (14) tiver sido colocado totalmente dentro da doca, ele fica em contato com a doca em pelo menos dois pontos, em cujo caso tanto o barco (14) como a doca são fixados entre si, com o auxílio do dispositivo de travação (9, 15). O barco (14) e a doca formam, assim, rapidamente, uma unidade coesa.
