Abstract

CATALISADORES DE COBRE-ZINCO MODIFICADOS E MÉTODOS PARA PRODUÇÃO DE ÁLCOOL A PARTIR DE DIÓXIDO DE CARBONO. A presente divulgação fornece catalisadores compreendendo: cobre; zinco; um ou mais primeiros elementos selecionados de ferro, níquel ou cobalto; alumínio; oxigênio; opcionalmente, um ou mais segundos elementos selecionados de um metal do Grupo V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X e XI (por exemplo, manganês, prata, nióbio, zircônio, molibdênio, rutênio ou paládio); e opcionalmente um ou mais metais do Grupo IA e em que o primeiro elemento está presente em uma quantidade de cerca de 1 a cerca de 40% em peso (por exemplo, cerca de 1 a cerca de 10% em peso, cerca de 25 a cerca de 40% em peso, cerca de 30 a cerca de 40% em peso, ou cerca de 35 a cerca de 40% em peso) da quantidade total de cobre, zinco, primeiro elemento, do segundo elemento opcional e do metal opcional do Grupo IA, e métodos de uso do referido catalisador na produção de etanol e álcoois superiores a partir de dióxido de carbono.
