a presente revelação se refere a um processo para preparar um complexo de ligante de imina de metal de transição com base de schiff. o processo envolve quelação direta de um ligante de imina de base de schiff adicionando-se um haleto de metal de transição em um meio fluido halogenado em uma temperatura na faixa de 20 °c a 40 °c. o processo emprega reagentes menos perigosos e condições brandas de reação para obter o complexo. o complexo é eficiente para ser usado como um catalisador para a produção de polietileno de peso molecular ultra-alto desenredado.
