Abstract

trata-se de um processo eficiente para a preparação de tiossulfato de potássio (k2s2o3). hidróxido de potássio (koh) e enxofre elementar (s) são convertidos em polissulfeto de potássio, que é subsequentemente oxidado. o processo permite o uso de condições de processo especificamente projetadas como razões molares de hidróxido de potássio para enxofre, e temperatura, para obter uma formulação otimizada do polissulfeto desejado, e um conjunto especificamente projetado de condições como temperatura, pressão, taxa e duração do oxidante durante as condições de oxidação, para obter uma concentração relativamente alta de produto de tiossulfato de potássio solúvel com alta pureza, com quantidades relativamente baixas de subprodutos. o processo de fabricação pode ser um processo em batelada ou um processo contínuo que usa reatores com tanque de agitação contínua (cstr). o processo de cstr depende de vários parâmetros de projeto, incluindo a otimização de pressão e temperatura para evitar a instabilidade do produto. o tiossulfato de potássio resultante é um fertilizante benéfico com alto teor de potássio como uma fonte líquida de potássio a 50%.
