Abstract

é fornecido um método para formação de couro recurtido isento de cromo, incluindo: (a) contatar um produto branco úmido (pele curtida isenta de couro) com uma mistura de recurtimento compreendendo de 2% a 15%, em peso de sólidos, com base no peso úmido do produto branco úmido de uma composição de polímero anfótera compreendendo unidades com funcionalidade de amina e unidades funcionais de ácido; e (b) aplicar um revestimento polimérico contendo um copolímero acrílico com um ou mais elementos de metais de transição, com uma espessura não maior que 100 mícrons, ao produto branco úmido recurtido. a presente invenção também fornece um couro recurtido isento de cromo formado pelo método.
