Abstract
a invenção se refere a uma célula que expressa um polipeptídeo com atividade de desidrogenase de ácido 5- hidroximetil-2-furanocarboxílico, bem como a uma célula que expressa um polipeptídeo possuindo capacidades de transporte de compostos furânicos. a invenção também se refere a um processo para a produção de ácido 2,5- furanodicarboxílico (fdca) em que as células da invenção são utilizadas para a oxidação de um precursor furânico de fdca.
