resumo patente de invenção: "preparação ultrar rápida do tecido de diagnóstico como uma alternativa para seção congelada". a presente invenção refere-se aos métodos e sistemas aperfeiçoados para processamento de tecidos sólidos. o método pode ser realizado manualmente ou automaticamente. o sistema pode ter módulos, tais como (i) um módulo de extrapolação, onde um tecido fresco é cortado para preparar amostra de tecido, (ii) um módulo de endurecimento que endurece a amostra de tecido, (iii) um módulo de impregnação que impregna a amostra de tecido que estava endurecida, e (iv) um módulo de incorporação que incorpora uma amostra de tecido que foi endurecida e impregnada. o tecido fresco , que foi retirado para o diagnóstico da doença, ou para avaliar o tratamento cirúrgico, é extrapolado para cerca de 0,6 mm. de preferência, o endurecimento do tecido fresco é iniciado, mas não completado, durante a extrapolação por meio do contato com uma mistura química. de preferência, gelo seco, dispositivo termoelétrico, ou condensador de gás resfria um molde de metal que contém a amostra incorporada. ele é seccionado e, em seguida, examinado microscopicamente como uma alternativa para o exame histológico de uma seção congelada para evitar os problemas conhecidos de diagnóstico discordante e diferido.
