método e sistema para determinação de uma necessidade de adaptação de ponto de contato a presente invenção diz respeito a um método para determinar uma necessidade de adaptação de ponto de contato para uma embreagem (106) de um veículo (100), cuja embreagem (106) é destinada a transmitir força motriz entre uma primeira fonte de força na forma de um motor (101) e pelo menos uma roda propulsionada (113, 114). o método compreende - em um primeiro ponto no tempo, em um primeiro ponto no tempo, determinar uma primeira temperatura (t1) de dita embreagem (106), - comparar dita primeira temperatura (t1) com uma segunda temperatura (t2) de dita embreagem (106) determinada em um segundo ponto no tempo que precede dito primeiro ponto no tempo, e - determinar uma necessidade de adaptação de ponto de contato quando dita primeira temperatura (t1) difere de dita segunda temperatura (t2) por mais de um primeiro valor (<30>t).
