Abstract

método de limpeza melhorado. a invenção refere-se a um método de limpeza de um substrato sujo, o método compreendendo tratamento do substrato com um material de limpeza de particulado sólido e água de lavagem, o tratamento sendo realizado em um aparelho compreendendo um tambor compreendendo paredes laterais perfuradas e tendo uma capacidade entre 5 a 50 litros para cada kg de tecido na carga de lavagem, em que o dito material de limpeza de particulado sólido compreende uma multiplicidade de partículas poliméricas em uma partícula no nível de adição de tecido de 0,1:1 em massa, cada partícula sendo substancialmente cilíndrica ou esférica em forma e tendo uma densidade média na faixa de 0,5 a 2,5 g/cm^ 3^ e um volume médio na faixa de 5 a 275 mm^ 3^, e em que o dito tambor compreendendo paredes laterais perfuradas é girado em uma velocidade que gera forças g na faixa de 0,05 a 900 g. as partículas poliméricas podem compreender materiais poliméricos espumados ou não espumados que podem compreender polímeros lineares ou reticulados. preferencialmente, pelo menos um detergente é empregado no processo de limpeza. a invenção fornece o desempenho de limpeza ótimo em consequência da interação mecânica melhorada entre substratos e meios de limpeza e é preferencialmente usada para a limpeza de tecido têxteis. o método permite reduções significativas no consumo de detergentes, água e energia quando comparado com a limpeza úmida convencional de tecidos têxteis, e também promove dano reduzido de tecido têxtil relacionado à lavagem. a invenção também contempla uma composição de limpeza compreendendo uma composição de limpeza de particulado sólido e pelo menos um agente de limpeza adicional. em modalidades particulares da invenção, o material de limpeza de particulado sólido é separado e recuperado e em seguida reutilizado em processos de limpeza subsequentes. tipicamente, o material de limpeza de particulado sólido é limpo intermitentemente a fim de manter sua eficácia.
