Abstract

revestimento curável por radiação para fibra óptica. a inevnção refere-se a composições curáveis por radiação. a invenção fornece composições de revestimento primárias curáveis por radiação para fibra óptica compreendendo um oligômero, uma combinação de monômeros diluentes reativos compreendendo pelo menos dois monômeros diluentes reativos, e pelo menos um fotoiniciador, em que cada um dos referidos monômeros na referida combinação possui a fórmula (i) em que x é um número inteiro de 1 a 6; n é um número inteiro nde 1 a 5; e cada y, que pode ser o mesmo ou diferente, é independentemenre selecionado do grupo consistindo em hidrogênio, um grupo alquila c1 a c12 e um radical acrilato alcarilalcoxilado; e pelo menos um fotoiniciador; a referida combinação de monômero reativos diluentes sendo substancialmente livre de monômeros diluentes reativos não-arila; em que quando um monômero diluente reativo arila está presente e que possui um peso molecular inferior a cerca de 300, está presente em não mais do que cerca de 10% em peso de tal formulação.
