Abstract

"óLEO DE GIRASSOL, PLANTA DE GIRASSOL, SEMENTES DE GIRASSOL, MéTODO PARA PRODUçãO DE UMA PLANTA QUE FORMA SEMENTES CONTENDO UM óLEO ENDóGENO, PLANTA HìBRIDA, PROGENITURA DE PLANTA HìBRIDA, óLEO, E PRODUTO ALIMENTìCIO". A invenção refere-se a um óleo de girassol obtido diretamente de sementes de girassol com pelo menos 12% de ácido esteárico relativamente ao teor total de ácidos graxos, caracterizado por o coeficiente de distribuição <244> de ácidos graxos saturados entre as posições sn-1 e sn-3 ser de pelo menos 0,38, e refere-se a um óleo de girassol obtido diretamente de sementes de girassol com pelo menos 12% de ácido esteárico relativamente ao teor, total de ácidos graxos, caracterizado por o coeficiente de distribuição <244> de ácidos graxos saturados entre as posições sn-1 e sn-3 ser de pelo menos 0,28 quando o tear de ácido oleico é mais elevado que o teor de ácido linoleico no óleo. A invenção também se refere às plantas e sementes para produção do óleo e ao uso do mesmo.
