Abstract

"UTILIZAçãO DE PELO MENOS UM PEPTìDEO DA CASEìNA <244>~ S2~ COM ATIVIDADE INIBIDORA DA ENZIMA DE CONVERSãO DA ANGIOTENSINA I PARA O PREPARO DE MEDICAMENTOS, DE ALIMENTOS E DE COMPLEMENTOS ALIMENTARES". A invenção se refere à utilização de um ou vários peptídeos para o preparo de medicamentos com atividade de tipo anti-hipertensivo, úteis para o tratamento ou a prevenção da hipertensão, tendo uma atividade inibidora face ao ECA com valores de IC~ 50~ da ordem ou inferiores a 60 <109>M, escolhidos dentre os grupos de peptídeos que têm as seq³ências em ácidos aminados a seguir: Thr-Val-Tyr (SEQ ID NO: 1) Asn-Met-Ala-Ile-Asn-Pro-Ser-Lys (SEQ ID NO: 2) Phe-Ala-Leu-Pro-Gln-Tyr (SEQ ID NO:3) Phe-Pro-Gln-Tyr-Leu-Gln-Tyr (SEQ ID NO: 4) Phe-Ala-Leu-Pro-Gln-Tyr-Leu-Lys (SEQ ID NO: 5) Asn-Met-Ala-Ile-Asn-Pro (SEQ ID NO: 6) Phe-Ala-Leu-Pro (SEQ ID NO: 7). Ela se refere também a uma composição farmacêutica contendo, a título de princípio ativo, uma quantidade eficaz de um ou vários peptídeos, pré-citados, ern combinação com um veículo farmaceuticamente aceitável. Ela se refere também a um produto alimentício, notadamente útil para suplemento da alimentação das pessoas sujeitas à hipertensão ou desejosas de prevenir seu aparecimento, contendo uma quantidade eficaz de um ou vários peptideo(s) pré-citado(s), em combinação com suportes alimentares, notadamente de natureza protéica, lipídica ou glucídica. Esse produto alimentício pode compreender também pelo menos um dos peptídeos com as seq³ências em ácidos aminados a seguir: Ala-Leu-Asn-Glu-Ile-Asn-Gln-Phe-Tyr-Gln-Lys (SEQ ID NO: 8) Ala-Leu-Asn-Glu-Ile-Asn-Gln-Phe-Tyr (SEQ ID NO: 9) Tyr-Leu (SEQ ID NO: 10).
