Abstract

"RESERVATóRIO DE SUBSTâNCIAS SEMIOQUìMICAS PARA ATRAIR CUPINS SUBTERRâNEOS QUE FORMAM TúNEIS NO SOLO". A presente invenção refere-se geralmente a dispositivo de polímero impregnado com substâncias semioquímicas atraentes para cupins. Os materiais para a liberação das substâncias semioquímicas são, de preferência, isentos de celulose. Os dispositivos da presente invenção são colocados no solo e fornecem uma liberação e uma permeação lenta das substâncias semioquímicas para o solo adjacente, de modo que os cupins que estão fazendo túneis na vizinhança sejam dirigidos em direção às fontes de substância química. Devido ao fato das substâncias semioquímicas estarem impregnadas no polímero, o dispositivo também protege as substâncias semioquímicas, de modo que elas não se degradem rapidamente sob as condições do campo. Em uma modalidade preferida, a presente invenção compreende uma carcaça de estação durável, de preferência, com uma isca removível, em que o próprio corpo da carcaça de estação está impregnado com uma substância atrativa semioquímica.
