Abstract
"APARELHO DE CODIFICAçãO DE IMAGEM EM MOVIMENTO E APARELHO DE DECODIFICAçãO DE IMAGEM EM MOVIMENTO". A presente invenção refere-se a um codificador de vídeo (70) para a codificação de imagens em movimento compreendendo um buffer (16c) com uma pluralidade de áreas de memória capaz de armazenar quadros compostos por campos de topo e campos de fundo, uma unidade de estimativa de movimento (19) operável para codificar, campo a campo, imagens introduzidas realizando uma estimativa de movimento e uma compensação de movimento por uma referência, campo a campo, aos dados de imagem armazenados em uma área de memória, uma unidade de compensação de movimento (16d), um subtraidor (11), uma unidade de transformação (13) e uma unidade de quantificação (14), uma unidade de gerenciamento de memória (71) operável para gerenciar, quadro a quadro, uma pluralidade de áreas de memória, uma unidade de quantificação inversa (16a) e uma unidade de transformação de cosseno discreta inversa (16b) operável para decodificar dados de imagem em campos codificados e armazenar os dados de imagem no campo decodificado em qualquer uma da pluralidade de áreas de memória sob o gerenciamento pela unidade de gerenciamento de memória (71).
