Abstract

"FUSãO CONTROLADA EM UMA CONFIGURAçãO INVERTIDA DE CAMPO E CONVERSãO DE ENERGIA DIRETA". Um sistema e aparelho para fusão controlada em uma topologia magnética de configuração de campo invertida (FRC) e conversão de energias de produto de fusão diretamente em força elétrica. Preferivelmente, os íons do plasma são magneticamente confinados na FRC enquanto os elétrons do plasma são eletrostaticamente confinados em um poço de energia profundo, criado ajustando um campo magnético externamente aplicado. Nesta configuração, os íons e elétrons podem ter densidade e temperatura adequadas de forma que sob colisões eles são fundidos ao mesmo tempo pela força nuclear, desse modo formando produtos de fusão que emergem na forma de um feixe anular.
