Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES DE POLIOLEFINA MODIFICADA, DE REVESTIMENTO BASE A BASE DE SOLVENTE, DE REVESTIMENTO BASE A BASE DE áGUA E ADESIVA DE POLIOLEFINA MODIFICADA, PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE SUBSTRATO REVESTIDO, E, ARTIGO DE FABRICAçãO". São produzidas poliolefinas modificadas pela reação de uma poliolefina funcionalizada com um ou mais compostos etilenicamente insaturados que possuem um grupo funcional reativo com o grupo funcional da poliolefina. Essas poliolefinas podem então se polimerizar na presença de um fotoiniciador e pela exposição à radiação ultravioleta, e possuem também a capacidade de copolimerizar, na presença de um fotoiniciador, com outros agentes etilenicamente insaturados de reticulação, também pela exposição à radiação ultravioleta. Essas poliolefinas modificadas podem conter ainda grupos carboxila pendentes que apresentam a propensão de formar sais hidrófilos com aminas, podendo ser portanto tomadas dispersáveis em água. As poliolefinas modificadas da presente invenção melhoram de forma significativa a aderência de tintas, de tintas de impressão e de adesivos, a diversos substratos de plástico e de metal.
