Abstract

"MéTODO PARA PRODUZIR FERRO METáLICO". A presente invenção e intencionada a prover um método para produzir ferro metálico, o qual compreende as etapas de fornecer uma mistura contendo um agente redutor carbonáceo e óxidos de ferro em um cadinho de um forno de fusão de redução do tipo de cadinho móvel, aquecer a mistura para fusão de redução dos óxidos de ferro, resfriar ferro metálico assim obtido, e descarregar o ferro metálico para o exterior do forno para recuperação. O método pode facilmente remover ou reparar a superfície de um núcleo mesmo quando pó de ferro metálico está enterrado na superfície do núcleo ou até mesmo quando a superfície do núcleo sofre de infiltração e erosão de escória, pode aumentar um fator de disponibilidade e de manutencibilidade do cadinho, e é adequadamente praticado para operação contínua de longo prazo. A presente invenção reside em um método para produzir ferro metálico, onde um material de núcleo é depositado na forma de uma camada no cadinho antes de suprir a mistura, formando assim um núcleo renovável capaz de ser renovado, e o ferro metálico é produzido enquanto renovando uma parte ou todo o núcleo renovável, o qual se deteriorou durante operação, com o material de núcleo.
