Abstract
"COMPOSIçõES REAGENTES DE TETRAZóLIO ESTABILIZADAS E PROCESSOS PARA UTILIZAçãO DAS MESMAS". São proporcionadas composições de reagentes de corante de tetrazólio estabilizado e processos para sua utilização na determinação de um constituinte químico em uma amostra. As composições reagentes objeto incluem um componente de corante tetrazólio, por exemplo, um sal tetrazólio solúvel em água, e uma quantidade efetiva de um agente nitrito estabilizante, por exemplo, um sal nitrito. Em muitas concretizações, as composições reagentes objeto incluem membros adicionais de um sistema produtor de sinal de oxidação de constituinte químico, tal como: uma enzima de oxidação de constituinte químico, por exemplo, uma hidrogenase do constituinte químico ou uma oxidase do constituinte químico; um agente de transferência de elétron; e um co-fator enzima.
