"COMPOSIçõES REAGENTES DE TETRAZóLIO-FENAZINA ESTABILIZADAS E PROCESSOS PARA UTILIZAçãO DAS MESMAS". São proporcionadas composições de reagentes de corante de tetrazólio-fenazina estabilizado e processos para sua utilização na determinação de um constituinte químico em uma amostra. As composições reagentes objeto incluem: (1) um componente de corante tetrazólio, por exemplo, um sal tetrazólio solúvel em água, (2) um componente fenazina; e (3) uma quantidade efetiva de um ou mais reagentes estabilizantes de corante tetrazólio-fenazina, por exemplo, um composto inorgânico do Grupo IIIA e/ou uma flavina. Em muitas concretizações, as composições reagentes objeto incluem membros adicionais de um sistema produtor de sinal de oxidação de constituinte químico, tal como: uma enzima de oxidação de constituinte químico, por exemplo, uma hidrogenase do constituinte químico ou uma oxidase do constituinte químico; e um co-fator enzima.
