Abstract

"SACO DE GáS PARA UM DISPOSITIVO DE PROTEçãO DE PASSAGEIROS". A invenção refere-se a um saco de gás para um dispositivo de proteção de passageiros em veículos automotores que pode ser insuflado por meio de um gerador de gás, e cujo invólucro externo apresenta, no estado insuflado, uma superfície do invólucro coordenada ao passageiro a ser protegido. De acordo com a invenção está previsto que, no estado insuflado, o invólucro (10) do saco de gás (1) forma uma fenda (5) que desemboca na superfície do invólucro (11) coordenada ao passageiro (1), e pelo fato de que, em um caso de oop, com a insuflação do saco de gás (1), o passageiro (1) pode penetrar, com uma parte do corpo (K) voltada para o saco de gás (1), na fenda (5) que se forma e, com isso, esta se expande, para evitar uma colisão do passageiro (1) com a superfície do invólucro (11) coordenada do saco de gás (1) em um caso de oop.
