Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO ELETROQUìMICO E MéTODOS PARA CONVERSãO DE ENERGIA". A presente invenção se relaciona a um dispositivo eletroquímico. O dispositivo apresenta um anodo construído de materiais tais que o dispositivo possa ser quimicamente recarregável. Em adição, o dispositivo é capaz de mudar entre operar como uma célula de combustível ou como uma bateria. A mudança pode ocorrer sem a cessação da capacidade elétrica. Em certos aspectos da invenção, o dispositivo é capaz de operar a uma temperatura menor do que 1000<198>C. Outros aspectos apresentam um anodo líquido o qual permite uma capacidade mais alta, uma dispersão de combustível e tensões mínimas em uma interface que compreende o anodo. Preferivelmente o anodo é um líquido a uma temperatura menor do que 1000<198>C. A invenção também se relaciona a métodos para a conversão de energia nos quais uma capacidade elétrica contínua pode ser produzida tanto na presença de combustível sem consumo de anodo quanto na ausência de combustível.
