Abstract

"MATERIAL DE PAPELãO, RECIPIENTE DE PAPEL MONTADO, COPO DE PAPEL MONTADO, E, MéTODOS DE PREPARAçãO DE UM MATERIAL DE PAPELãO DE BAIXA DENSIDADE E DE PREPARAçãO DE UM COPO A BASE DE PAPELãO ISOLADO". A invenção proporciona um material de papelão de baixa densidade e o método associado para uso na produção de um recipiente isolado, e é especialmente bem adequado para a preparação de copos. O material de papelão compreende uma folha contínua de papelão incluindo fibras de madeira e microesferas expandidas, e possui uma densidade relativamente baixa variando de cerca de 2,5x10^ -4^ a cerca de 4,2x10^ -4^ kg/m^ 2^/mm, uma espessura relativamente elevada variando de cerca de 0,61 a 0,89 mm, e uma resistência de ligação interna de pelo menos cerca de 0,11 mN, preferivelmente de pelo menos 0,14 m-N. Para aplicações tais como copos o material também está revestido sobre um ou ambos os lados com um revestimento de barreira, preferivelmente polietileno de baixa densidade, para limitar a penetração de líquido para dentro da folha contínua.
