Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO, DE PREFERêNCIA TINTA DE IMPRESSãO PARA APLICAçõES DE SEGURANçA, MéTODO PARA PRODUZIR UMA COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO, E USO DE CERâMICA VìTREA". A presente invenção refere-se a composições de revestimento, de preferência, tintas de impressão para aplicações de segurança, compreendendo pelo menos uma resina orgânica, pelo menos um pigmento, e, opcionalmente, pelo menos um solvente orgânico. O dito pigmento compreende partículas compósitas cerâmicas vítreas, contendo pelo menos uma partícula cristalina embutida em uma matriz de vidro. As ditas partículas cerâmicas vítreas têm um tamanho de partícula na faixa entre 0,1 <109>m a 50 <109>m. De preferência, íons ativos, selecionados do grupo dos elementos de terras raras, são incorporados na fase cristalina do compósito, para proporcionar as cerâmicas vítreas com características de conversão luminescente ascendente e descendente. Os agentes luminescentes cerâmicos vítreos têm uma excelente estabilidade física e química. A matriz de vidro permite também a estabilização dos cristais hospedeiros de halogeneto fotofisicamente interessante, que têm baixas energias de fónon. Esses materiais proporcionam propriedades de excitação e emissão incomuns.
