Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "MéTODO E SISTEMA DE CATALISAçãO PARA A PRODUçãO DE CARBONATOS AROMáTICOS". Um método e um sistema de catalisação para a produção de forma económica de carbonatos aromáticos a partir de compostos hidróxi aromáticos. Em uma modalidade, a presente invenção proporciona um método para a carbonilação de compostos hidróxi, pondo em contato pelo menos um composto hidróxi aromático com oxigênio e monóxido de carbono na presença de um sistema de catalisação de carbonilação que inclua uma quantidade catalítica de um co-catalisador inorgânico que contenha cobre. Em diversas modalidades alternativas, o sistema de catalisação da carbonilação pode incluir uma quantidade eficaz de uma fonte de paládio e uma quantidade eficaz de uma composição de haleto. Outras modalidades alternativas podem incluir quantidades catalíticas de diversas combinações de co-catalisadores inorgânicos.
