Abstract
"PREPARAçãO DE COMPOSTOS DE áCIDO IMINODIACéTICO PROVENIENTES DE SUBSTRATOS DE MONOETANOLAMINA". Esta invenção refere-se a um processo para produzir um composto de ácido iminodiacético de um composto de monoetanolamina tendo a seguinte fórmula (1) em que R^ 1^ é hidrogênio, hidrocarbila, ou hidrocarbila substituída. Em uma modalidade, o processo compreende entrando em contato o substrato de monoetanolamina com uma fonte de cianeto e uma fonte de formaldeído para formar um intermediário de monoetanolamina N-cianometilado, e entrando em contato o intermediário de monoetanolamina N-cianometilado com uma fonte de hidróxido e um catalisador contendo metal para formar o composto de ácido iminodiacético.
