"PROCESSOs PARA A PREPARAçãO DE N-(FOSFONOMETIL) GLICINA, DE UM SAL DE N-(FOSFONOMETIL)GLICINA, OU DE UM éSTER DE N-(FOSFONOMETIL) GLICINA, PARA A PREPARAçãO DE UMA N-(FOSFONOMETIL)GLICINA SUBSTITUìDA EM N OU UM SEU SAL, E PARA A PREPARAçãO DE UMA MONOETANOLAMINA SUBSTITUìDA EM N, E, CATALISADOR DE OXIDAçãO". Esta invenção refere-se a um processo aperfeiçoado para a preparação N-(fosfonometil)glicina substituída em N (i.e., "glifosato"), um sal de N-(fosfonometil)glicina, ou um éster de N-(fosfonometil)glicina. O processo compreende combinar um reagente de N-(fosfonometil)glicina substituída em N com oxigênio na presença de um catalisador de metal nobre.
