Abstract

L'invention concerne le dépot de couches sur un ruban de verre chaud (17) venant d'etre formé qui se déplace à travers un poste de revetement (19). Les réactifs sont pulvérisés sous forme d'un courant de gouttelettes qui balaye transversalement le parcours (3) du ruban. L'impact de ce courant sur le verre provoque un éclaboussement et du gaz est déchargé en continu derrière ce courant de manière à maintenir un écoulement de gaz dans le sens d'avancement du ruban qui entraine les éclaboussures hors de ce courant vers une zone d'extraction (27). L'invention s'applique avantaguesement à la formation de revetements épais sur un ruban qui se déplace à vitesse élevée.
