<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
EMI2.1

Diamines of androstene and methods of obtaining it.
The 3,17 diamine derivatives of androstane have already been prepared and described!
EMI1.1
Such products are of interest in the hormone industry and have an action on nitrogen metabolism,
It appeared, however, of interest to the Applicant to prepare for analogous uses bodies or corresponding diamine derivatives 3,17 of androstene comprising a 5-6 double bond:
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
EMI2.1
These compounds are of quite considerable importance because of their double bond both in the chemistry of drugs with a steroid core and for direct use as drugs.
This double bond is in fact found in most hormones, either sex hormones or steroid only modifying nitrogen metabolism.
On the other hand, it is interesting to achieve these diaminated androstenes by a short series of reactions forming a simple method starting from already aminated derivatives constituting the starting materials and comprising this double bond as well as an NH2 in 3, that these compounds are of natural origin or are already semi-synthetic products.
The object of the present invention is to provide simple and practical solutions to the problems stated above and consists essentially in obtaining, from derivatives of pregnene-5 one-20 amines, substituted or not, of derivatives of. substituted or unsubstituted androstene-5 diamines.
It also consists of obtaining, from these derivatives, substituted or unsubstituted androstene-5 diamines, bis-dimethylamine derivatives androstene-5 and androstene-4 dione 3,17.
I. OBTAINING FROM PREGNENE-5 DERIVATIVES ON ± -20 AMINES

SUBSTITUTES OR NOT.
1 Description of the process.
The reaction of a hydroxylamine salt on the derivatives
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
amines of pregnene-5 one-20 such as methylamino-3ss-pregnene-5 one-20, amino-3ss-pregnene-5 one-20, amino-3Ó pregnene-5 one-20, dimethylamino-35 Pregnene-5 one-20, gives the corresponding oximes which, by transposition of Beckmann, in a pyridine medium, in the presence of an acid catalyst, for example phosphorus oxychloride, para-acetamido benzene sulfonic acid chloride, etc. ,, lead to the corresponding acetamido-17 ANDROSTene-5, the reaction taking place with conservation of the configuration.
In the case of primary and secondary amines, the amine function is first of all acetylated in order to avoid a secondary reaction with the reagents for the transposition of
Beckmann. In the case of the tertiary amine, the acetamido derivative is obtained directly,
The saponification of these acetamides by alkaline hydrolysis! under pressure or in glycolic solution gives the corresponding 1-diamino-3,17 androstene-5 derivatives.
2 The invention is illustrated by the following examples @
The melting points are corrected and taken in a capillary tube (W. Buchi apparatus, after Tottoli). The rotational powers were determined in mierotubes of 0.5 dm, in chloroform solution, with the electronic Zeiss polarimeter, at a wavelength of 578 m / u. IR spectra were carried out in KBr pellets. , with a Unicam SP.100 spectrometer.
