MECANISME D'INTRODUCTION.POUR MACHINES A FILER, MOULINER ET RETORDRE,
A ANNEAUX,

INTRODUCTION MECHANISM FOR SPINNING, MILLING AND REORTING MACHINES,
WITH RINGS,
The present invention relates to ring spinning, milling and twisting machines, and in particular, although not exclusively, to those machines which include the lifting mechanism which is the subject of the Belgian patent filed on 27 November 1950 under No, 389.674 to the name of the applicant. Its aim is to provide an improved apparatus for inserting empty tubes, cans or coils on the spindles, the first phase of a new spinning operation after the removal of the windings completed by the previous one.
This apparatus can be applied to machines in which the relative back and forth movement between the pins and the rings, necessary for the formation of the wire windings, is obtained by lowering and raising the bar of the pins relative to a fixed ring bar, or by animating the ring bar with a similar movement, the spindle bar remaining fixed, or by a combined movement of these two parts of the machine in opposite directions,
According to the invention, in a spinning machine, a twist-milling machine, with rings, a support per spinning group automatically maintains an empty tube, bobbin or spool, this support being able to pass from a loading position to tube insertion position or equivalent,
In the latter position, when the spindle is fully raised with respect to the ring, or when the latter is lowered completely with respect to the spindle, a tube or the like, held by this support, fits on the spindle and can be driven by it, The invention also provides a device for retaining the support in the loading position.
Several supports, each in relation to a spindle of the machine or part of a machine, can be mounted so as to execute collective movements either under the inaction of a hand device or under the action of a synchronized mechanism. with the winding forming mechanism.

In order to make the invention fully understood, the application of an improved feeder apparatus to a ring spinning machine comprising a lifting mechanism according to the aforementioned patent application will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In this lifting mechanism each spindle is provided with a removable winding carrier element intended to support the winding on the spindle and to be retained with it in the lifting position by interception devices which act before the movement. relative lowering of the pins; this carrier element comprises devices for retaining and cutting the thread so that the winding can be removed before a new series of empty spools are introduced on the pins.
In these drawings, FIG. 1 is an elevational view of part of the machine, showing the introducer apparatus in the operating position; Fig. 2 is an elevational view, partially in section, taken along the line II-II of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a horizontal section, taken along the line III-III of FIG. 2 and Fig. 4 is a view analogous to FIG. 2, showing another embodiment of the invention. The machine shown in the drawings is of the type in which the pin bars are moved up-and-down with respect to the ring bars. , fixed.
1 denotes the ring bar, 2 the ring, 3 the slider and 4 the spindle of a spinning group. The lifting mechanism provided in this case comprises a supporting element for the coil 5, retained in the raised position, that is to say the position in which a coil would be supported entirely above the coil. ring, by an interception plate 6 slidably mounted to the lower part of the ring bar. The carrier element 5 is fitted with a spring device 7 'which stops the wire 8 before the latter is separated by the blade 9 from the last turn of the wire of the completed winding.
According to the invention, a series of supports 10 are mounted on a common bar 11 carried by elements 12 fixed on a shaft 13 extending longitudinally in front of the machine or a part of the machine, each of the supports 10 serving a separate spinning group.
The carriers 10 shown in the drawings are intended for use with simply conical shaped windings which fit tight enough to the spindle of the spindle to be driven by the rotational movement of the spindle. The supports are in the form of a U-shaped clamp gripping between its jaws 14, 14 the tube 15, a spring button 16 mounted in one of the jaws serving to retain the tube in the support until the latter is withdrawn afterwards. the introduction operation,
The shaft 13 is mounted immediately below the front of the ring bar 1 and is capable of partial rotation, when the completed wire wraps have been removed, between a position, shown in dotted lines in FIG.
2, and in which the supports can be lined with empty tubes 15, and the position in solid lines, in which the tubes 15 are supported above the supporting elements of the windings 5, and rest on the seats 17 of these elements , in alignment with the spindle axes. As soon as the tubes 15 reach this position, the pins 4 are raised to the maximum and enter the corresponding tubes; the intercepting plates 6 are then withdrawn from the supporting elements 5, so that on their next downward movement the pins can drive with them the supporting elements 5 and the tubes 15. When the pins start to rotate for a new operation of spinning, the supporting elements 5 and the tubes 15 rotate with them.
The cut end of the wire 8 being still retained by the spring device 7 is wound on the tube 15 as soon as the latter begins to rotate with the spindle, but when the lifting of the completed winding, this end is withdrawn from the spindle. spring device which, at this time, also retains the end of the wire which has just been cut at the start of the lifting operation ,.

When the pins start to go down, the now empty supports 10. \) Tilt down to the reload position? and can be replenished with new tubes before the next cycle begins. The supports 10 are at this time in the most suitable position to be replenished with tubes 15 by 1; operator..
To hold the tubes 15 more firmly in the supports 1-0. it is useful to mount on the bar 11, by means of a series of rods 18, an angle 19 which is located in the extension of the bar 11 and serves to provide a support 20 for the free end of the tubes when the supports are in the loading position.
When the supports go into
